This National Institutes of Health database of physical activity programs helps program planners find evidence-based programs for different settings, population groups, and community types. Examples include:
- Aerobic Exercise Versus Spinal Flexibility + Aerobic Exercise for Sedentary & Functionally Limited Adults, which teaches older adults how to engage in more aerobic activity and how to practice various postures and positions and incorporate them into their daily life
- ALIVE!, a personalized, computer-based intervention consisting of a health risk assessment with immediate feedback, health behavior modules, and weekly tailored emails
- Bienestar, a culturally tailored, school-based diabetes prevention intervention with health and physical education classes, an after-school health club, family activities, and food service
