The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) is pleased to announce the next webinar in the Healthy People 2030 Webinar Series: Healthy People, Healthy Hearts: Healthy People 2030 and Cardiovascular Health. During this one-hour webinar, presenters will provide an overview of four featured Healthy People 2030 cardiovascular disease-related objectives, their connections to one another, and current progress toward meeting their targets. Additionally, the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services will share details on their efforts to address adolescent obesity and prevent cardiovascular disease.

Rather, the conditions in the places where people live, work, and play — what many refer to as social determinants of health — have the greatest influence on our health. Organizational health literacy — the degree to which organizations equitably enable individuals to find, understand, and use information and services to inform health-related decisions and actions for themselves and others — is one of those key social determinants.
